Oman Data Park to help SMEs through Riyada

MUSCAT, June 17, 2015

Oman Data Park (ODP), a top managed services hosting provider, has entered into an agreement with Riyada, an organisation for SME development, to offer ICT services to SMEs under the Riyada umbrella at special prices.

“An efficient ICT system is critical to business success in today’s competitive business environment. We are proud to be able to put our expertise to use and enable local SMEs to run and expand their business,” said Maqbool Salim Al Wahaibi, general manager, Oman Data Park.

“As a company, one of our main aims has been to localise data in Oman and build the local capacity by providing jobs, training and skill sets to Omanis in this important domain. Our tie-up with Riyada is a step in that direction.”

The agreement will allow the SMEs to outsource their IT needs to ODP and focus on growing their core business, offering them the facility to scale up according to their demand. The CSR initiative is in continuation with the company’s commitment to supporting the Government in promoting entrepreneurship among young and talented Omanis. – TradeArabia News Service
