Viva, Samsung launch Galaxy S6, S6 edge in Bahrain

MAN, March 30, 2015

Leading telecommunications operator Viva Bahrain, in partnership with Samsung Electronics, has launched a campaign to give its customers the opportunity to enjoy Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and S6 edge first.

Viva customers will now be able to pre-order Samsung’s next flagship smartphones with a deposit of BD 20 ($5.4) at Viva’s outlets at Lulu Hypermarket in Hidd, Ramli Mall and Bahrain City Center, said a statement.

Both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge boast seamless metal and glass construction, and integrate the most advanced Samsung core technology available, it said.

The new phones feature a state-of-the-art 5.1-inch QHD Super Amoled display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, the toughest glass on the market.

The Galaxy S6 edge, in particular, blends outstanding beauty and remarkable usability due to its unique build. As the world’s first smartphone with a curved display on both sides, the Galaxy Note edge provides an immersive viewing experience and a solid grip.

The premium devices, which are equipped with incredibly vivid and fast front and rear cameras, are also complemented by a totally new and lighter interface.

The new interface fully optimises the user experience by simplifying applications and displaying features and settings in a more intuitive way.

With their slim, seamless, full metal and glass construction, the sleek, ultra-thin Galaxy S6 and unique Galaxy S6 edge, will be available in 32 GB and 64 GB.

All models are available in an array of colourful jewel tones, including White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, which elicit a unique visual texture as they reflect natural light, said the statement.

The first customers to reserve the cutting-edge Galaxy smartphones will be gifted with a Samsung wireless charging pad, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
