Batelco launches YotaPhone2 in Bahrain

Bahrain Telecommunication Company (Batelco) announced it is the first company in Bahrain to provide YotaPhone2, an Android smartphone featuring two fully touch-enabled displays.

The smartphone has a high-definition 1080p Amoled screen as its front display and on the flip-side is an electronic paper display screen, which uses a ‘Yota Always-On Display’ for e-reading, notifications, outdoor visibility, etc, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

YotaPhone claims to offer five days of reading on a single charge as well as two days of basic smartphone functions with the YotaEnergy app.

The device weighs 145 grams, has dimensions of 144x69.5 mmx 8.9 mm and Gorilla Glass 3 on both sides. Batelco is offering the YotaPhone2 as part of bundled packages with five different options in the line-up.

Postpaid packages include unlimited data and free on-net calls. - TradeArabia News Service
