Etisalat boosts package for Business Travellers

DUBAI, March 8, 2015

UAE telco giant Etisalat in a strategic move has extended the roaming coverage area for its business traveller packs by 60 per cent thus covering 105 countries across 248 operators.

Business Traveller Packs, the widest, most competitive data-roaming proposition for business customers in the UAE, allow users the flexibility to choose from 30-day one-off packs to monthly recurring packs, said a statement from Etisalat.

Moreover, it offers business customers the feature to track international data usage during their travel by automatic notifications for better control over roaming spends, assuring worry-free roaming experience.

With this move, Etisalat offers its business customers wider data connectivity globally with no additional cost.

Salvador Anglada, the chief business officer, said, "As the UAE’s local businesses expand their global reach, the frequency of their international travel accelerates. We are keen to help their businesses growth and ensure that executives stay well connected both, locally and overseas."

"We have expanded our data-roaming network coverage by more than 60 per cent at no extra cost to our customers. This means there are many more countries and networks where our customers can surf the web, check emails, use maps and more on their travels, without worrying about bill shocks," he noted.

John Lincoln, the senior vice president (Small and Medium Businesses) Etisalat, said: "There are many small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) based in UAE that conduct extensive business abroad. This requires SMB customers to have reliable and best in class data roaming services."

"The structured Business Traveller pack proposition offers value for money, transparency and predictability of cost and convenience for SMBs. This enhanced proposition has an extended coverage in 105 countries across 248 network operators at no extra cost. It is another way of how we help SMBs grow their businesses," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
