Etisalat Group nominated for 5 GSMA awards

ABU DHABI, February 4, 2015

Etisalat Group, a leading telecommunications operator in the Middle East, Africa and Asia, has been nominated for five of GSMA’s Global Mobile Awards.

The nominated products and services include Flous, for best mobile money service; Mobile Cashier, for best smart retail service; women empowerment programme Weena, for best service in emerging markets; Etisalat Mobile Connect, for the best digital identity service; and C’me, for the best mobile network based product.

The winners will be announced during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on the March 3, said a statement.

Michael O’Hara, GSMA’s chief marketing officer, said: ”Congratulations to all the nominees in the 20th Global Mobile Awards. With a new record of over 800 entries, the competition has been better than ever - reflecting the dynamic pace of growth and evolution across the mobile world.
