UAE's leading telecom services operator Etisalat has launched a first-of-its-kind service allowing customers to gift mobile data packages to their families and friends and receive 10 per cent bonus data as a reward for every package they gift.

For the new mobile data gifting service, Etisalat offers a wide variety of data packages from 100MB up to 20GB to suit different needs, said a statement from the company.

Data gift packages can be sent from prepaid to prepaid, post-paid to prepaid and prepaid to post-paid customers, it stated.

Khaled ElKhouly, the chief marketing manager, said Etisalat had introduced many firsts in the UAE, leading the way in launching innovative mobile data and device offerings.

"Our range of mobile data packages are the most competitive propositions in the market and designed to suit all types of data users - occasional, regular or heavy," he remarked.

“It is a delight to be extending our mobile data offering as gifting options for the first time in the UAE. Customers can choose from a range of data packages to gift their loved ones, friends or even co-workers if they like. In the same spirit of gifting, we are giving them back a 10 percent bonus data allowance for free”, stated ElKhouly.

"For example, upon gifting a 3GB package, the customer receives an instant reward of 300MB for immediate use," he added.

Customers subscribed to Etisalat’s mobile data package can enjoy it on the company’s nationwide 3G and 4G LTE mobile network that enable seamless connectivity and super speeds of up to 150Mbps for streaming videos, browsing the Internet or simply downloading content on mobile phones, said the company statement.-TradeArabia News Service
