Mobily launches latest 4G network modem

Saudi Arabia-based telecommunications operator Mobily has launched the 4G network new modem equipped with many features that make it one of the best devices which support 4G networks in the kingdom.

The new modem’s speed to connect with the Internet reaches to 150 MB per second, and its WiFi network signal strength reaches up to 250 meters in addition to the possibility of linking 32 devices at one time, said a statement.

It is characterised with its elegant design and easiness of control through smartphones iOS application which works on Android operating system, it said.

Mobily is providing the new modems within various packages of 5GB for three months period for an amount of SR475 ($126), 10GB for three months period for an amount of SR550, 20GB package for six months period for an amount of SR930 and Infinity package of 60GB for 12 months period for an amount of SR1,480.

Currently, Mobily is intensifying its efforts to cover the rest of the uncovered kingdom’s populated regions with 4G-LTE network, and at the same time, is aiming to enhance areas that have been covered earlier, where the number of sites that have been covered exceeded the barrier of 4,500 locations. - TradeArabia News Service
