Al-Falak to offer Oracle products in Saudi

JEDDAH, November 18, 2014

Al-Falak Electronic Equipment and Supplies Company, a leading IT and communications solutions provider, is set to provide Oracle hardware and technology solutions to the public and private sectors in Riyadh and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The firm’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Division is expanding with an aim of offering new Oracle products and widen the company’s reach to cover other areas in the kingdom, said a statement.

The division will  will particularly focus on applications, hardware, and other key related products, it said.

Yasser Oudeh, general manager of Integrated Business Solutions of Al Falak, said: “As a strategic partner of Oracle, we will focus on major products and solutions from Oracle’s JD Edwards Enterprise One, e-Business Suite, and Taleo Business Edition  (TBE) applications. - In hardware, Alfalak will include offerings such as Oracle Sun Servers, Oracle Storage and Oracle Engineered Systems’ Exadata and Exalogic platforms to suitably support the expansion of our ERP Division,

“We will also offer other technology solutions, including Oracle Database and other database options such as GoldenGate, Real Application Clusters (RAC), and Data Guard as well as Oracle middleware such as WebCenter, Business Intelligence (BI) and the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Suite. As for  new Oracle products, our ERP will further reinforce Oracle Fusion ERP and Taleo Enterprise Edition (TEE) applications.”
