Etisalat wins best customer care award

DUBAI, November 1, 2014

UAE's top telecom services operator Etisalat said it has won the renowned TeknoTel Award for 'Best Customer Care 2014’ at a ceremony held recently in Dubai.

The honour recognises Etisalat’s achievements in improving overall customer experience by instituting advanced training programs, electronic services and technologies dedicated to customer satisfaction, said the company in a statement.

Tony Eid, the CEO of Trace Media, said: "Etisalat came out tops amidst stiff competition to win this award for its excellence in customer care. Through the year, the operator has successfully put in place a number of best practices as part of its customer experience strategy that also determines the high quality of services extended to its customers."

Eid said Etisalat had a proven track record of excellence and technology leadership in introducing innovative services catered to meet customer needs and tastes.

Hassan Hussain, the vice president of Customer Experience, Etisalat said, "Receiving this award is great recognition of Etisalat’s efforts and success in improving customer experience, bringing it at par with international standards."

"Placing customer delight at the heart of all efforts, we are adopting a dynamic approach to continuously offer a well-defined and differentiated customer experience. Initiatives that we have undertaken are powered by sophisticated technology and mechanism to ensure the right level of service is provided to the right segment of customers," stated Hussain.

"We have over 2000 trained employees working around the clock and handling millions of calls per month across Etisalat’s call centres, which hold both COPC 5.1 and ISO 9001-2008 certifications," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
