Mobinil, a leading Egypt-based mobile operator, has invested about EGP2 billion ($278 million) annually in developing its network, said a report.

Orange Group owns around 94 per cent from Mobinil's shares and it is responsible for Mobinil's management and policies according to Egyptian laws, managing director and CEO of Mobinil Yves Gauthier was quoted in the Amwal Alghad report.
