Tawasul in deal with Equinix for PoP in UAE

Tawasul Telecom, a leading provider of Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) networking services in the Middle East and the Gulf region, has signed a deal with Equinix to have a second Point of Presence (PoP) in the UAE.
The PoP will be hosted by Equinix IBX DX1 data centre in Dubai, said a statement.
Under the agreement, Tawasul has diversified its international MPLS gateway to the Middle East by opening up new data routes to Dubai and simultaneously offering regional businesses a greater range of solutions tailored to meet their connectivity needs.
