Manama, June 22, 2014

Oxygen, a secure mobility Value-Added-Distributor (VAD) in the region, has partnered with Fortinet, a global leader in high-performance network security, to train its Small and Medium Business (SMB) channel partners across Saudi Arabia.

The workshop was aimed at providing hands-on sales training to channel partners on Fortinet’s next generation SMB products and solutions.

Khalid Laban, the CEO of Oxygen said deploying an effective network security has always been challenging for SMB networks sharing the same threat environment as larger organizations yet with limited resources.

"Fortinet delivers a proven, comprehensive security platform that optimizes the SMB network as it integrates a wide range of network security functions into a single device, giving SMB’s unmatched visibility for their applications, data, and users," he noted.

Emad Abu Jazar, the country manager for Fortinet, said: "Together with our distributor Oxygen, we are pleased to have conducted the SMB trainings for our channel partners. Fortinet continues to drive the network security industry forward with improved performance and innovative new features for small or highly distributed networks."

"Thanks to our FortiGate-200 series, FortiGate-100 Series, FortiGate/FortiWiFi-30 and 90 series, Fortinet provides a comprehensive enterprise grade security protection with a broad range of wired and wireless security connectivity options for SMBs," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
