Zain Bahrain has announced the introduction of a new mobile application, the Zain Mobile TV App, with free access for postpaid customers until the end of this month.

The new Zain Mobile TV App allows customers to watch up to 58 TV channels on their Apple and Android devices including smartphones and tablets.

It also features 'on-demand' viewing of movies, series, plays and documentaries in Arabic, English and Hindi.

"Regardless of how or where our customers need to watch news, sports or their favourite series, the Mobile TV app will make it simpler," said Zain Bahrain broadband and enterprise product and services manager Mohammed Al Alawi.

For postpaid customers, the service is available free of charge until May 31 while prepaid customers will be charged BD3 as a weekly subscription fee.

Postpaid customers have to have an active data package with Zain to get the service, while in prepaid the weekly bundle is inclusive of unlimited data usage. Both postpaid and prepaid customer can activate the service by dialling *555#.

The Zain Mobile TV app is available in the form of a free download on Google Play Store for devices that run on Android 4.0 and above, while the iOS version is available for both the iPhone and iPad using iOS5.1 and above on the Zain website.-TradeArabia News Service
