Batelco delivers vehicle tracking solution

Batelco will be providing its vehicle tracking solution to Wael Pharmacy Company, as part of the pharmacy’s initiatives to increase their operational efficiency.
Batelco launched the vehicle tracking solution in February to meet the demands and requirements of businesses and support them in their efforts to enhance their daily business operations, said the company in a statement.
The Vehicle Tracking Solution is designed to empower businesses of all sizes by providing them with the technology to monitor and control their automotive fleets.
Such provision delivers a number of benefits for businesses such as increased productivity, enhanced fleet and workforce security, and reduced fuel costs due to lesser private use of company vehicles, which translates to reduced overtime costs, it stated.
Vehicle Tracking is one of the innovative cloud initiatives launched by Batelco. Cloud solutions are transforming the way business is conducted by injecting more flexibility and improving operational and cost efficiency in addition to many other benefits.
The Vehicle Tracking Solution is hosted within the Batelco Cloud and can immediately be deployed to customers ensuring that the benefits of cloud are intact.
Batelco Enterprise GM Adel Daylami said that the vehicle tracking solution had been requested by many business customers to help them manage costs and efficiency for their company vehicles.
“The Vehicle Tracking System compliments Batelco’s comprehensive portfolio of products, services and solutions designed and developed to support the needs of businesses in Bahrain. We are very pleased to collaborate with Wael Pharmacy in delivering this innovative service for them,” he added.
Wael Pharmacy transport controller Adel M. Al Mahmeed said the pharmacy was proud of its association with Batelco for many years.
“Batelco has provided Wael with communications services for decades and we are happy to have this new service ‘vehicle tracking solution’ from Batelco,” he stated.
