General director of Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) Bahrain Mohammed Bubashait was honoured with the Leading CEO for Excellence award at the recent Leading CEO awards ceremony in Dubai.

The 11th edition of the event was organised and presented by the Middle East Excellence Awards Institute in Dubai.

The institute has conducted over 20 years of research and field studies in the corridors of government and private institutions in order to identify the best technological achievements , economic , financial , human and social, intellectual leadership and creativity, among others.

The Institute also contributed to the development of community awareness of the vital role of the concept of the transfer of expertise to the community that will accompany the foundations and principles of successful leadership.

“It is a great honour and privilege for me to receive this award among many candidates who strive for excellence in leadership,” said Bubashait.

“I believe that this award stresses our efforts to continue to achieve our mission and objectives aimed at developing the telecommunications sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain and seeking towards positioning Bahrain at the highest levels of excellence at all levels in the telecommunications and information sector to achieve the objectives and aspirations of the Bahrain Government,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
