Cyber experts to discuss safety issues in Bahrain

Cyber security experts from around the world will meet in Manama on April 3 to discuss conflict in cyberspace.
 
The panel discussion, called 'Cyber Security: Strategies in the Gulf,' is being hosted by the International Institute for Strategic Studies and is the first in a series being held on the topic, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
 
Experts including cyberspace consultant Dr John Sheldon, Baltic Defence College leadership department director Lieutenant Colonel Mike Kerttunen and Mitre Corporation international cyber lead Chris Spirito will discuss a variety of topics including cyber conflict in the Gulf and Bahrain, government and private sector remedies against cyber conflict, baseline cyber defence and security capabilities and the education and training requirements for cyber security in the workforce. - TradeArabia News Service
