Dubai, March 27, 2014

UAE-based Alpha Data, a leading systems integrator, recently inaugurated its new subsidiary, Alpha Data Technology, in Doha, marking its first permanent overseas office.

Qatar, one of the fastest-growing economies in the region, is an ideal market for Alpha Data to offer its more than 30 years of expertise to boost local IT services, a statement said.

Alpha Data Technology will offer audio visual, mobile ICT and security solutions directly from the new office. Specialists certified to the highest levels by some of the world’s leading technology providers will also deliver pre- and post- sales, project implementation, and support services across all technologies, the statement said.

Fayez Ibbini, managing director, Alpha Data, said: “Alpha Data was established during a time of great change for both the IT industry and the UAE. With Qatar on a similar development path, our company is well-equipped to support the company’s IT-enabled growth.”

“As one of the fastest-growing countries in the region, Qatar is also the ideal base for us to pursue our regional expansion plan. We have been looking at Qatar as a key growth market for some time now and we are delighted to have finally established a permanent base there.

“As an organisation we continue to grow and attract the best talent and offerings which we hope to bring to our Qatar-based customers. We intend to deliver the best of what we can offer in terms of solutions expertise and experience,” added Ibbini.
