Game development session at iTech Gulf

Manama, March 26, 2014

Hilal Conferences & Exhibitions (HCE) will welcome Bahrain’s leading interactive consultant and expert game developer Mohammed Babbili to the iTech Gulf 2014 Forum and Exhibition next month.

For the first time ever in the kingdom, Babbili - an interactive consultant at award winning web development and interactive agency 4Spots will conduct a ‘one of a kind’ workshop that will include a hands-on Game Development session.

“The aim of the session is simply for all participants to build a game that they can play with and share with their friends online” said Babbili

With a childhood passion to become a game developer, Babbili fell in love with coding and started learning Japanese at high school. Entering college, he signed up for the Imagine Cup, a competition sponsored and hosted by Microsoft to uncover the hidden talents of future IT experts and showcase their exhilarating work. As a result, he was nominated as a Microsoft MVP (most valuable professional).

Babbili developed his ability to deliver knowledge to other people and will do so at the iTech Gulf 2014 Forum as attendees take part in creating a fun and exciting game from scratch with guidance from this skilled and knowledgeable individual.

His goal is to push the video game development industry in the Gulf region and to help people use their coding skills in their daily lives and believes in the importance of people acquiring the latest technological knowledge, in particular related to apps.

“iTech Gulf looks to lead the way through knowledge exchange in the ICT field. Mohammed Babbili’s session will be one of many unique experiences at the forum” added Jubran Abdulrahman, managing director of HCE. - TradeArabia News Service
