Telecom, ICT sector in focus at Dubai forum

The development priorities and strategies for growth in telecommunications and ICT will be the focus of an ITU conference to be hosted in Dubai from March 30.
The ITU World Telecommunication Development Conference will run till April 10 at the Dubai Internation Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Under the theme ‘Broadband for Sustainable Development,’ it will discuss the future growth of ICTs, especially in emerging and developing economics, and where new business opportunities open up to rapidly growing ICT industry.
The ‘Dubai Action Plan,’ which will be the outcome of the conference, will set the agenda for telecommunication and ICT development over the next four years. - TradeArabia News Service
