Du launches ‘Multi-Sim’ for postpaid customers

Dubai, December 26, 2013

UAE-based telecom operator du has launched its new ‘Multi-Sim,’ with which postpaid customers can manage up to five devices under one plan.

With Multi-Sim, customers can share their data and minutes across multiple devices, said du in a statement.

Customers need to assign one primary Sim to their main device, with up to four secondary Sims in other devices. All Sims share the same subscription, enabling them to make and receive voice calls, video calls, send SMS, MMS and use data simultaneously, it stated.

All Sim combinations are available with the plan, making all nano-Sim, micro-Sim and regular Sim devices eligible, it added.

Fahad Al Hassawi, chief commercial officer, said: “We understand our customers, and we know that trying to juggle numerous mobile lines can get complicated.  To help make things easier without the need to cut back on the number of devices carried, we’ve introduced Multi-Sim.” - TradeArabia News Service
