Huawei wins top vendor awards

Dubai, December 16, 2013

Huawei, a leading ICT solutions provider, has been named the Middle East Vendor of the Year at both the recent CommsMEA Awards 2013 and the Telecom Review Awards.

The latest recognitions acknowledge Huawei’s ongoing industry leadership for exceeding its clients’ expectations on the delivery of projects in the Middle East, with Huawei taking home the CommsMEA Award for the fifth year running.

Within the Middle East, Huawei has been active for more than a decade with ten regional offices that today include over 3,800 employees responsible for more than $2 billion in contract sales last year—an 18 per cent increase over the previous year.

“We are honoured to have been chosen for these prestigious accolades, which is a strong affirmation of Huawei’s commitment to the regional telecom sector as a trusted & preferred partner for customers in both the government and private sectors,” said Shi Yaohong, president of Huawei Middle East.

“These recognitions further reflect the successful development of our business through dedicated employees who are the true pioneers of Huawei’s vision. As we continue to invest in bold technology solutions for the Middle East, Huawei will also look at even more ways to advance the wider ICT ecosystem through closer relationships with our partners, providing telecom operators, enterprises and consumers with integrated communication tools.” – TradeArabia News Service
