Telecom leaders to join Abu Dhabi summit

More than 500 high profile delegates from Middle East’s telecom operators, vendors and service providers will gather in Abu Dhabi next week for a major telecom summit.
The 4th edition of Abu Dhabi Telecoms CEO Summit will be held under the patronage of Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, UAE Minister of Economy, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec) on May 14.
With the increasing availability of LTE devices, LTE networks and its promotion by operators, this technology is the most topical issue among operators.
Speakers from Etisalat, du, STC, ZTE will give deeper insights on the LTE technology during the second half of the summit.
Another key highlight for the summit will be a talk by Dr Anne Bouverot, director general of GSMA, which represents the interests of nearly 800 mobile operators across 219 countries.
She will speak on ‘Building the Connected Economy’, discussing the drivers of the connected economy and how they will impact the lives of consumers and businesses in the Middle East and Africa.
