Help AG strengthens Symantec relation
Dubai, March 4, 2012
Help AG has announced that it has further strengthened its relationship with Symantec Corporation by achieving three specialisations in the areas of data loss prevention, encryption and IT compliance.
Stephan Berner, managing director, Help AG, said: “The criteria for these specialisations placed our skill sets under close scrutiny and have required a significant investment but the certifications offer several strategic advantages which will enable us to further strengthen our dominant position in the security market.”
“Through this achievement, help AG has demonstrated an investment and expertise across all three specialisations and can now better help its customers address the stringent privacy and compliance regulations they face by providing solutions that meet the challenges of data protection and reporting,” Berner said.
The IT Compliance specialisation means that the company can help customers achieve compliance capability while Symantec's data loss prevention solutions help ensure that their customers’ internal, confidential data stays safe, said a statement.
“Symantec Specialisations recognise partners’ investment and reward their expertise in Symantec technology,” said Ramzi Itani, director, channel & alliances at Symantec.
“Specialised partners have demonstrated a deep investment in Symantec and an expertise in delivering solutions and services that protect the customers’ most critical information,” he added.
Symantec recognises partners with a proven expertise in a particular area of business, provide partners with the skills and experience required to deliver differentiating service to their customers, the statement said.
Symantec partners achieve specialisation by meeting certain requirements that deepen their knowledge and proficiency in a solution family, and receive exclusive benefits as a result of their investment, it said. – TradeArabia News Service
