Nawras extends calling rate offer

Muscat, February 26, 2012

Oman-based telecommunications company, Nawras, is making its popular 0902 international calling offer even more attractive by extending it from two hours per day to 10 hours per day.

Now customers can enjoy calls to any place in the world at 49 Baiza per minute, every day from 8pm until 6am, said a statement from Nawras.

To avail the ‘Super Off Peak’ calling rate, calls should be made using the 0902 VoIP prefix rather than 00 before dialling an international number. For example, when calling India, customers should dial 090291 instead of 0091, followed by the telephone number.

Omar Al-Farsi, international services manager, said: “This attractive 0902 offer has already proved to be extremely popular with Nawras customers who are enjoying the opportunity to getting closer to friends and family abroad using our fantastic rate of only 49 Baiza per minute.”

“Now we are extending the time quite considerably to make it even more convenient by giving our customers the opportunity to benefit from this Super Off Peak rate for ten hours every day,” he said.

In addition to this offer, Nawras customers can also use the same prefix from 6am until 8pm to benefit from a 15 per cent tariff reduction on the second minute of an international call as well as a 30 per cent reduction on the third minute onwards.

To benefit from this tariff, the same 0902 prefix should be used instead of the usual 00 international dialling code, the statement said.

The offer is valid until March 26, it said. – TradeArabia News Service
