Nawras, a member of the Qtel Group and a leading telecommunications provider in Oman,  has announced its great value welcome pack offer.

The new offers will enable customers to get closer to friends and family while enjoying a pleasingly different communications experience, according to a senior official.

“We’ve packed great value into these welcome pack offers and as a result, we are looking forward to welcoming many new customers to the Nawras family,” said Aziz Al-Harrasi, Nawras head of Marketing Core Services.

“Nawras Mousbak customers can also take advantage of special rates like Favourite Local Numbers to get closer to their friends and family for only 19 Baiza per minute,” he added.

Under the scheme, customers choosing the Nawras Mousbak prepaid option can buy a welcome pack for just RO2 ($5.19) and along with their Sim card they will receive the same value in credit to make calls, send SMS or use for any other Nawras service.

New Nawras Ajel postpaid customers also get a great deal with welcome packs priced at RO2.

"Each pack contains 100 minutes of free Nawras to Nawras calls to get closer to friends and family over the following two-month period. Fifty free minutes will be given in the first month and fifty in the second month."

Nawras Ajel customers too enjoy a regular calling rate of 19 Baizas per minute for all calls to other Nawras customers and 39 Baizas for other national calls.
