Kalaam Telecom unveils new website

Kalaam Telecom Bahrain, the first alternative telecom operator in the kingdom to provide voice, data and internet connectivity solutions, has unveiled a redesigned and rebranded corporate website, kalaam-telecom.com.

The all-new website provides easy access to Kalaam’s full range of innovative product and service lines and customer account management portal in one domain, a statement from the telecommunications company said.

“In keeping with our commitment to be customer-centric, we have taken extensive steps to be more accessible and reachable to our visitors. The launch of our website now allows visitors to have information on B2C and B2B solutions at their fingertips,” said Veer Passi, chief operating officer, Kalaam Telecom. “The website is structured to offer transparent pre-sales and after-sales customer support and more importantly, our dedicated sales and customer care teams are literally a click-away.”

Customers looking for cost-effective solutions for their business fixed lines, mobiles and internet, can access the relevant solution – be it for local and international calls, toll-free number allotments or internet connectivity (ADSL or dedicated leased line, with the option of wireless, wired or MPLS).

Similarly, operators looking for more advanced, customised solutions such as data centre hosting, carrier-to-carrier routing and bulk SMS will find service summaries in the B2B section, the statement said.

“Each service has a dedicated web page with content highlighting like service benefits, activation timelines, defined after-sales service agreements, rate comparisons between various services, respective subscription forms and product FAQs. This full-access to information makes it easier for customers to see where Kalaam can add value to their businesses,” said Santosh Gandhi, products and services manager.

“The corporate website has been crafted to showcase not only our corporate brand but also our different product brands. The real change is in the approach, which was to keep the website simple and welcoming - to ensure seamless, easy and quick navigation through various modules,” said Anna Kelly, marketing and corporate communications manager.

“Our online customer portal has also been integrated into the website and offers a one-stop account management portal. Existing customers can access their respective service bills in real-time, check call history and pay their bills via secure gateway for postpaid services or recharge hala.
