Batelco, the leading telecom service provider in Bahrain, is currently in the process of upgrading its next generation voice and data network.

Accordingly, modernisation work, which may cause service interruption to some Batelco services, namely Business Broadband, MPLS, ISDN Primary and ISDN Basic, is currently being carried out with the final work scheduled to take place this week.

To minimise the impact on Batelco’s business and residential customers the upgrade work will take place between the hours of 12am and 6am lasting for approximately 10 minutes per outage, a statement said.

“We apologise for any inconvenience the work may cause and appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our customers,” said Batelco Group general manager Media Relations Ahmed Al Janahi. – TradeArabia News Service
