Zain offers big prizes at Broadband Fair

Zain Broadband Fair had a grand opening last week at the Bahrain City Center offering customers a chance to win big prizes including laptops, handsets and Playstations besides lots of fun for families.
The colourful and buzzy event kicked off in the presence of corporate guests, media, mall visitors and Zain management, said a statement from Zain.
It will showcase Zain Bahrain’s exciting upgraded Broadband 2.0 offerings in an atmosphere of fun, colour and music and continue over the next six weeks in the Galleria area of the popular mall.
The event was held under the patronage of GOYS president Hisham Al Jowder.
Al Jowdar said the broadband service has become one of the pillars of telecoms sector especially amongst youngsters owing to the multitude of Internet services and the high speed that it features, which saves a great deal of time and efforts in many cases.
Al Jowdar lauded Zain Bahrain for its contributions to community services through its sponsorship of public sector and civil society organizations’ activities.
Zain general manager Mohammed Zainalabedin said, “Over the next six weeks, the Zain Broadband Fair will give customers a chance to experience the exciting new offerings that our improved WiMAX service brings to the market.'
'Also on offer will be plenty of special promotions for customers opting for the broadband,” he added.
Visitors can look forward to exploring our broadband offerings and participate in a raffle draw with valuable prizes ranging from laptops, handsets and free rental for our broadband service as well as a popular Playstation contest. New customers will get exciting gifts upon signing up at the Fair for the Zain Broadband 2.0 services.
'The opening ceremony was a great indication of the fun that the Zain Broadband Fair will pack into visitors’ evenings. There was a giant cake decorated with the Bahrain National Flag which set the refreshments going, henna and face painting for visitors and a merry and colourful sight of forty youth from GOYS parading with Bahraini flags.'
In addition, visitors were treated to traditional sounds from a Bahraini band made up of nationals in traditional costumes, he said.
“We welcome all visitors to the Zain Broadband Fair and see for themselves how the superior speed and reliability of the upgraded version of WiMAX has added value to Zain Broadband 2.0,” said the company’s Broadband Products and Services manager Mohammed Al Alawi.
