Mobiserve rolls out Saudi's First 4G Network

Mobiserve, a leading solutions provider for technical and telecoms infrastructure services and engineering in the region, said it has launched the first Long Term Evolution (LTE)-WiMAX forth generation 4G network in Saudi Arabia.

Mobiserve was selected by vendors Samsung and Huawei to deploy the landmark project on behalf of Saudi operator Mobily.

Its scope will cover the project implementation including survey, design hardware and Radio Frequency (RF) installation and commissioning.

With its selection of Mobiserve, vendors Samsung and Huawei ensure best in class expertise in the installation of a complete 4G network that will significantly increase data speeds for Mobily’s estimated 5 million customers.

The LTE-WiMAX 4G network will be the highest speed data network in the country with speed estimated to be two times faster than current 3G networks.

CEO Sameh Atalla, said, “Mobiserve is looking forward to begin work on such a breakthrough project as we are committed to deploying the latest advanced technologies in conjunction with our vendor partners Samsung and Huawei.”
