Firms team up for new automated delivery

Kedu, an automated services specialist, and Austria-based Keba, a leading industrial automation company, have partnered to introduce new automated delivery solutions in the UAE.

Through the partnership, Kedu will soon be able to offer advanced, innovative automated solutions in the UAE, which will offer businesses and individuals in the emirates access to state of the art automated delivery solutions, a statement said.

Kedu will be offering a range of environmentally friendly, technologically advanced solutions via their automated delivery machines that will be located at smart stations across the city in strategic areas all focused on providing consumers with an efficient solution to their delivery needs.

“We are thrilled to sign this partnership agreement with Keba. Our goal is to introduce new, smart solutions in the UAE and through the partnership we will soon be able to deliver on this from the beginning of the second quarter of 2011,” said Obaid Al-Qahash, managing director at Kedu.

“Through our affiliation with Keba, we will be able to provide consumers and businesses a real alternative that will fit in more naturally with their daily lives, adding layers of convenience and enhanced efficiency for our customers and we look forward to rolling out our plans from very soon,” he added.

Businesses will be able to save time by using these machines to offer secure, smart, self-service options to their partners and customers, while individuals can utilize the automated delivery features for drop off and collection of personal parcels, shipments and official documents, according to the statement. – TradeArabia News Service
