Raqmiyat gets key Red Hat partner status

UAE-based Raqmiyat, the primary IT division of Al Ghurair business group, has earned the Advanced Business Partner status from Red Hat, the world’s leading provider of open source solutions.
A leading systems integrator in the emirates, Raqmiyat said this enhanced partnership will allow the leading systems integrator to address growing regional demand for more complex, high-end open source solutions and consolidate its presence in the Gulf region.
The company has already demonstrated expertise in the Red Hat product portfolio as well as technical, sales and training requirements, it added.
Raqmiyat’s status as a Red Hat Advanced Business Partner is the result of the company’s continuous efforts to provide a full range of high quality solutions and services to customers across many verticals in the GCC region, said a senior official.
