Global technology solutions and services provider, 3i Infotech, has promoted Pankaj Chawla to the role of president - Middle East, India, Apac and Africa regions.

Chawla has been with 3i Infotech as the head of its Middle East, Africa, Russia & CIS regions.

In his new role, Chawla will be responsible for 3i Infotech’s business operations across significant markets which account for around 40 per cent of the company’s global revenue.

Chawla brings with him over 16 years of extensive experience, having managed a wide range of IT businesses in leading organisations like General Electric (GE), Satyam Computers and LogicaCMG.

Prior to joining 3i Infotech, Chawla served as the managing director of LogicaCMG for the South Asian region.

Chawla holds an engineering degree from the Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET), Lucknow, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, India.-TradeArabia News Service
