OTVentures names MSN Arabia head

Cairo, November 2, 2010

OTVentures, a fully owned subsidiary of Orascom Telecom, has appointed Sherif Dahan as managing director of MSN Arabia and MSN Maghreb.

Dahan moves from LINKdotNET’s Dubai office where he was the general manager of LINKdotNET’s Gulf operations. He brings with him a wealth of experience to his new post, having worked with LINKdotNET for several years prior to his most recent appointment.

MSN Arabia and Maghreb footprint covers the whole of the Arab world, receiving visitor traffic from across the Gulf and North Africa. The network attracts more than 10 million unique site visitors and generates more than a billion and a half monthly page views.

“The choice of having Sherif Dahan as the managing director is in line with the formation of OTVentures and its plans to strengthen our leadership for digital and mobile assets. We trust he can take solid steps to further strengthen MSN Arabia and Maghreb’s brand leadership and market share,” stated Hanan Abdel Meguid, chief executive OTVentures.-TradeArabia News Service
