Dubai, October 11, 2010

Eset, the leader in proactive threat detection, will showcase its latest security solutions at the upcoming Gitex Technology Week (Gitex) 2010, the leading ICT exhibition in the region, in Dubai.

Gitex 2010 is running from October 17 to 21 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The security vendor will demonstrate its Eset NOD32 v.4.2 antivirus, Eset Smart Security v.4.2 and Eset Mobile antivirus in addition to meeting channel partners and customers at the event.

“Gitex, being the largest technology exhibition in the Middle East, is a very important event for us. We plan to use the exhibition as a platform to promote our flagship products Eset NOD32 antivirus and Eset Smart Security as well as Eset Mobile antivirus to a much wider audience,” said Neo Neophytou, MD of Adaox, Eset’s regional business development and support centre.

“Over the last few years, Eset has experienced tremendous growth in this region and through our participation in Gitex, we look forward to generating new sales leads and increasing our visibility and market share even further. Gitex also presents us with the opportunity to meet our existing and potential customers from across the Middle East and Africa under a single roof,” he added.

Richard Marko, technology director, Eset, said: “Eset was the first security vendor to reach the 50-award milestone when Eset NOD32 was awarded its 62nd VB100 per cent award from Virus Bulletin, a widely-respected independent comparative testing group.”

“Coupled with innovative features such as the ThreatSense engine, our security products are equipped to provide speedy support and proactive protection to customers based anywhere in the world. Since our last participation in Gitex, Eset has achieved new milestones in IT security and our award-winning solutions provide a level of protection never achieved before,” he added. – TradeArabia News Arabia
