Bahrain-based Hilal Computers is revolutionising its service delivery capability with the launch of a new facility which enables customers to test-drive a product in a live setting before committing to purchase.

The Hilal Technology Centre, inaugurated at Hilal Computers' Bahrain headquarters, is a fully-functional, live visualisation showcase of IT infrastructure solutions from many of the world-class vendors represented by Hilal Computers in Bahrain.

Certified technical experts and IT engineers from Hilal Computers are available to provide support, advice and product recommendations to customers during the test-drive, a visualisation service which enables IT procurement staff and end-users to familiarise themselves fully with product capabilities and performance characteristics in a real application environment.

'The technology test-drive concept ensures a product that matches the end-users' performance and application criteria and expectations prior to purchase,' said Hilal Computers general manager Hardy Koshy.

'This customer-centric approach not only greatly facilitates the decision-making process but also strengthens our commitment to the world-class vendors we represent in Bahrain, many of whom will direct their customers to the technology centre.'

The Hilal Technology Centre was officially opened by Al Hilal Group general manager Geoffrey Milne.
