Injazat gets ISO certification

Injazat Data Systems, a leading information technology and business process managed services provider in the UAE, has been awarded ISO certifications for meeting the stringent requirements of IT Service Management & Information Security system.
The recognitions from ISO, the world’s largest developer and publisher of international standards, affirms the high standard of management processes implemented by Injazat to meet business requirements for IT Services, said a company statement.
Injazat received the ISO/IEC 20000:2005 for IT Service Management and ISO 27001:2005 for Information Security Management System standards, it added.
ISO/IEC 20000:2005 is the first international standard developed specifically for IT Service Management, defining a comprehensive set of management processes for effective IT service delivery. It is aligned with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
Through the support of its professional development initiative, the Injazat Training Institute (TI2), Injazat currently has one of the largest numbers of ITIL certified professionals in the Middle East, the company statement said.
ISO 27001:2005, on the other hand, outlines parameters for ensuring the adoption of adequate and proportionate security control for managing and protecting valuable and critical information assets.
Injazat’s Tier IV Data Center, the first design-certified facility of its kind in the Middle East, continuously designs, implements and maintains a suite of processes, procedures and IT systems for managing information accessibility and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets, as well as the reduction of information security risks, said a top official.
