Sermon, the leading Jordanian business solutions provider, signed an agreement with its partners in Libya to implement enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution for Al-Ahlyya Cement, a leading public company in Libya.

Sermon’s partner, the Investment Company for Technical Services (ICTS) stated that the Microsoft Dynamics AX based system aims to develop and enhance Al-Ahlyya Cement’s productivity on both the Libyan and the Arab markets.

“The new solution will help the company improve its performance, reducing operating expenses by at least 5 per cent,” said Hasan Khalifah Shalba, general manager of Al-Ahlyya.

Khalifah highlighted the ERP solution’s ability to assist the Al-Ahlyya in achieving the latest quality and planning standards while boosting its competency on a regional scale.

According to the agreement, the partners will employ their expertise to connect Al-Ahlyya’s technical, production, and administrative departments, creating a comprehensive network that provides the highest security standards. – TradeArabia News Service
