‘Employee bond key to corporate success’
Manama, July 28, 2010
The foundation of a company’s success lies in framing and implementing core values that will make employees connect emotionally with the company and help them to deliver their best and most innovative work, said an expert.
Mohammed Zainalabedin, general manager of Zain Bahrain, a leading telecom services provider, was speaking at an HR conference in Bahrain as a keynote speaker.
Zain Bahrain places extraordinary value on its employees whom it nurtures and inspires by offering an innovative, caring and challenging work environment, Zainalabedin said in his speech entitled “Managing the challenges of low productivity”.
“At Zain Bahrain, we believe that people come to work for four important factors: to live, to love, to learn and to leave a legacy,” Zainalabedin said.
“Being able to cover all these human needs makes people highly motivated to work and gets them to engage emotionally with the company.”
“In addition, we encourage our employees to adopt the Zain way – a template where productivity and profit come from encouraging ‘smart work’ over ‘hard work’. We encourage employees to be ‘non-routine’ in their approach to work,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
