Blue Coat picks Computerlinks as partner

Dubai, July 18, 2010

Computerlinks, a global player in IT security distribution, has been formally certified to deliver support for Blue Coat products.

The distributor offers hardware exchange services and has a 24/7 Network Operating Center (NOC) with highly skilled engineers available around the clock to assist resellers and customers alike, and also offers an onsite technician option.

As a BlueTouch Support Partner, Computerlinks controls all aspects of the hardware replacement support cycle, as well as handles the entire call from diagnosis to dispatching a qualified support engineer to resolve any issue.

Additionally, Computerlinks provides Blue Coat-certified Level 1 and Level 2 technical support via phone, email and web while Blue Coat provides Level 3 technical and escalation support to Computerlinks.

“It is a win-win situation for all parties involved. End users get local, in-country support for their Blue Coat products, as well as multiple vendor product support with a single point of contact, while partners enjoy higher margins and low administrative hurdles,” said Lee Reynolds, managing director – MEA & Apac, Computerlinks.

“With Computerlinks delivering service and support throughout the region, customers in the Middle East can more fully leverage their deployments,” added Blue Coat Customer Support and Services vice president, Terry Clearkin.-TradeArabia News Service
