Mobiserve opens office in Morocco
Dubai, July 13, 2010
Mobiserve Holding, a leader in turnkey telecommunication infrastructure solutions and engineering services based in the UAE, has announced the opening of its new office in Morocco in line with its expansion plans.
Mobiserve said its Casablanca-based office is a fully operational office and provides the Holding Group’s complete range of turnkey telecommunications infrastructure, engineering, operation and maintenance services.
Commenting on the announcement, Sameh Atalla, Mobiserve CEO said, “Mobiserve consistently looks to expand into regions where we see growth potential as well as continually provide our customers with the on the ground expertise to meet their evolving needs."
"To better serve the Moroccan market, the office also intends to expand vertically by offering innovative new lines of business such as solar and energy saving solutions and DC (direct current) ventilation systems."
Since its opening, the office has been able to penetrate a mature telecom market in a short duration by offering premium turnkey telecom infrastructure services.
As a result, through vendor Ericsson, the office has begun implementing several projects for leading in-country operators such as installation of new 3G sites as well as swapping of core network equipment, the official said.
These projects utilize Mobiserve’s broad range of turnkey telecom infrastructure services comprising site survey, installation, commissioning, integration and acceptance testing. It has also begun work on a breakthrough project installing microwave communication links for Ericsson to serve a Moroccan government authority. All projects utilize local workforce.
"Morocco is considered to be a mature telecom market, as an early adopter of advanced telecom infrastructure in Africa. However, we’ve been able to penetrate the market in a relatively short duration to offer our premium turnkey services."
"And with subscriber growth in Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia expected to increase by 42 per cent over the next five years, alongside uptake of 3G services, Mobiserve’s new Morocco office will enable country operators to rapidly roll out new services and effectively maintain existing and future sites," Atalla added.-TradeArabia News Service
