Mena Telecom launches new ICT products

Bahrain-based Internet service provider Mena Telecom is targeting corporate clients with new-generation information communications technology (ICT).

The company, an investment subsidiary of Kuwait Finance House-Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain), has launched a stable of new products as a result of identifying what individual businesses' need, it announced yesterday.

'We mean business for corporate clients. Mena Telecom is known for being an entrepreneur in the kingdom and throughout the region by offering customers a totally innovative concept with superb reliability, said KFH-Bahrain executive manager and Mena Telecom vice-chairman and managing director Abdul Razak Jawahery.

'Mena Telecom has always prided itself on providing a unique combination of high-speed broadband services with a reliable high-quality service to both business and residential customers.'

New corporate packages include dedicated high-speed Internet access with unlimited downloads and speeds ranging from 1 Mbps-20 Mbps and above, in addition to Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutions; Carrier Pre-Select Service (CPS); International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC); Global Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) and Data Centre Hosting.

All are monitored by a Network Operations Centre working round-the-clock to ensure a seamless operation, supported by a Call Centre managing customer queries, in addition to a dedicated support line for business customers, says the company.

Mena Telecom was the first company in the world to launch a nationwide WiMAX facility (Wireless Broadband and Telephony network) using WiMAX 802.16e technology.-TradeArabia News Service
