Gulf Business Machines (GBM), the region’s leading IT services company, received a Bahrain eGovernment excellence award, recognising it as the best ICT solutions provider.

The award was presented by HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minster, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology to GBM chairman Jalal Mohammed Jalal at the opening ceremony of the recently held Bahrain International eGovernment Forum 2010 and Bahrain IT Expo.

This was part of a series of awards for excellence and appreciation given to organisations that have contributed to the development of eGovernment initiatives in Bahrain and the region over the years.

GBM was a diamond sponsor of the forum for the second consecutive year.
