Ipsos launches web service

Manama, May 19, 2010

Bahrain-based Ipsos Middle East and Africa has launched Online Research which is the latest in online data capturing, calculating website hits on various local and regional websites.

Ipsos measures the number of visitors and visits for each website in addition to calculating the percentage of hits each website receives, and the number of pages that users visit.

Researchers can now distinguish the percentage of website viewers and the number of times they viewed the page, the number of pages they visited and the duration of each visit per website or webpage.

For website owners, Ipsos provides a password that allows them to verify which external websites linked to their website, which search engines directed visitors to their website and what words the visitors used when entering the search engines.

Other analysis in calculations include the percentage of links used by online searchers that lead them to the owner's website, either from a search engine, links or direct visiting.

The system also provides the percentage of visitors, both local and regional, and gives a detailed description of their countries or regions.-TradeArabia News Service
