Microsoft will launch 2010 versions of several office software on May 12, including Office 2010, SharePoint 2010, Visio 2010 and Project 2010.

The products were released to manufacturing (RTM) today (April 26), which is a major milestone for the developer team. RTM is the final engineering step before launch and a major achievement for all of the internal teams who worked to bring the 2010 set of products to customers.

Since the public beta in November, more than 7.5 million people worldwide have downloaded the 2010 set of products.

Their feedback, and the feedback of more than 5,000 corporate customers and partners, has helped to make the 2010 set of products the premier productivity suite across the PC, mobile phone and Web browser, a statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
