Zain, Shamil ink online payment deal

Zain Bahrain said it has signed an agreement with Shamil Bank, a leading Islamic bank in the kingdom, to offer Shamil customers online facilities to enquire and pay, in real-time, their Zain accounts.

Mohammed Janahi, Shamil Bank Retail Banking assistant general manager and Linda Al Jamea Zain Commercial Support Director signed the agreement.

The new pact will enable the Shamil customers to pay their bills or to top up their prepaid accounts in real-time from the comfort of their home or office, or even while they are traveling overseas via Shamil Online Banking Services, said Linda Al Jamea.

'This agreement is part of Zain Bahrain's efforts to continuously integrate new services and conveniences into our mobile services and reflect our customers' approach to multi-dimensional mobile telecommunications use,' she noted.

The Bank is an integral part of the Bahraini business community and we are proud to work in conjunction with them to add the convenience of our services to our customers.” she remarked.
