Etisalat unveils new plans for iPhone 3GS

Etisalat, leading telecom services provider in the UAE, has unveiled new price plans and packages for the latest iPhone 3GS launched in the emirates in October.

Customers may use the new iconic iPhone 3GS featuring wireless broadband service with Etisalat’s 3G network, which introduces new packages along with the device, for its Wasel and postpaid customers.

With the new options, customers will stand to benefit from better savings on SMS, voice and data packages, said a statement.

Etisalat’s advanced 3G network covers 99 per cent of the UAE’s populated area enabling its customers to enjoy the maximum expected performance with high speeds of up to 14 MBps, the statement added.

This will also enhance the customers experience while using the applications on iPhone 3GS device anywhere in the country. Etisalat customers can subscribe to the iPhone 3GS with several voice and data plan options as well as on stand-alone basis.

“Etisalat strives to deliver the nation’s best mobile broadband experience, and with the new iPhone 3GS, we want to live up to our promise of delivering to our customers the ideal combination of speed, coverage and best device line-up,” said Khalifa Al Shamsi, senior vice president marketing, Etisalat.

“We are committed to provide our customers with an enhanced communication experience. iPhone 3GS is the fastest, most powerful iPhone yet and we're extremely proud to offer it to our customers on the nation's fastest 3G network," he added.

Combined with the iPhone OS 3.1 software update, Apple has added several important new strengths to the iPhone with a strong focus on its speed upgrade. iPhone 3GS features a whole host of highly sought after features such as a better 3MP camera with video recording, voice control, up to 32GB of storage, stereo Bluetooth and more.

The iPhone 3GS tech specs have a battery life of up to five hours of talk time (12 if you turn off 3G networking), five hours of Internet use (nine on Wi-Fi), 10 hours of video playback, 30 hours of audio playback, and 300 hours of standby time, the statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
