Qatar Telecom (Qtel) will launch new International Minutes Packs for its Shahry customers on November 15, which offer discounted rates as low as QR0.83 per minute for international calls.

Qtel’s International Minute Packs offer a set number of minutes at specially-reduced rates, making it one of the most cost effective ways to make international calls. Customers who buy the packs can use their allocated minutes to call any overseas destination for an all inclusive rate, at no extra charge, whenever they want to.

For a limited time, the packs are available with additional bonus minutes, so that people can fully benefit from the discounted call rates during the festive season.

The first set of packs is available for QR50, for 30 minutes of talk time and a special bonus of 20 additional minutes, offering an effective call rate of QR1 per minute to any international destination.

The QR100 pack offers 100 call minutes, plus an additional 20 minutes as a special bonus from Qtel, providing an effective call rate of QR0.83 to any international destination.

The initial wave of International Minute Packs is available for Shahry customers, and the service will shortly be made available for Hala customers.

Qtel will also extend the range of International Minute Packs available in the months ahead, to ensure that a dedicated pack is available to suit the needs of everyone in Qatar, said a statement.

The special promotional offer on International Minute Packs runs until December 31. Customers will still be able to use their allocated minutes for 30 days after the period.-TradeArabia News Service
