Batelco’s e-Learning programme has received recognition at the Technology Based Learning Awards 2009, held recently in Kuwait.

The award ceremony formed part of the Seminars4Success Workshop hosted by Track Learning Solutions (TLS), in cooperation with SkillSoft, TLS’s partner in the Middle East. TLS provide the latest technology based learning solutions in the Mena region.

Batelco training and development specialist Catriona Shaw collected the award for 'The Most Creative and Diverse Implementation of Technology Based Learning', on behalf of Batelco.

Batelco invests over BD1 million annually in the training and development of its staff including an extensive e-Learning initiative which provides a choice of 250 SkillSoft e-Learning courses, a Project Management Portal and an e-Library, for all Batelco staff in Bahrain.-TradeArabia News Service
