Etisalat unveils special 'More Rewards' promotion
Abu Dhabi, July 26, 2009
Etisalat has announced a special promotion for its 'More Rewards' programme under which subscribers registering online for the programme will get Dh25 ($6.8) free talk-time in the form of 2,500 bonus 'More Reward' points.
The Etisalat More Rewards programme enables Wasel and post-paid subscribers to earn reward points for every Dh1 worth of mobile spend. Customers can redeem these points through purchases with either Etisalat or its multiple programme partners, said a senior official.
Commenting on the promotion, Essa AL Haddad, chief marketing officer, Etisalat, said, “Etisalat has always endeavoured to provide the benefits of convenience, coverage and value to its customers. The More Rewards Programme has been designed in line with this strategy and has been extremely successful with our customers since its inception.'
'With the latest incentive of Dh25 free talk-time, we further want to provide an impetus to this programme by allowing our customers to experience the benefits of joining this programme, both through Etisalat and through a host of our programme partners,' he noted.
“New members who register online can redeem their talk time immediately, or accumulate the bonus points which they can eventually redeem towards other rewards from our programme partners,” Al Haddad added.
In 2008 Etisalat, in conjunction with Mashreq bank launched the Etisalat Mashreq Co-branded Credit cards enabling subscribers to earn More Reward (www.etisalat.ae/more) points every time they shop in addition to their mobile spend with Etisalat. Currently, there are more than 40 “More” partners.
“Partnerships are significant to the More programme's growth strategy. Etisalat plans to develop mutually beneficial relationships with key value partners who can provide enhanced value to our customers,” said Al Haddad.
More members can use the reward points that they accumulate to pay for Etisalat services, including paying the bills on their service usage, or recharging prepaid accounts such as their ‘Wasel’ mobile phones.
Etisalat More members can register mobile subscriptions in their name and earn reward points and credit towards higher tier status, which in turn provides additional benefits, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
