Etisalat, Huawei deepen partnership

Etisalat has signed a global framework agreement (GFA) and financing MoU with Huawei Technologies, a leader in providing next-generation telecommunications network solutions for operators, to further support its business expansion.
Mohamed Omran, chairman of Etisalat and Sun Yafang, chairperson of Huawei attended the signing ceremony at the Etisalat-Huawei Summit in Abu Dhabi.
Under this financing MoU, Huawei as the strategic partner, will provide the optimal financing solution to Etisalat. The GFA will help Etisalat and Huawei improve their business efficiency.
Both the Financing MoU and GFA will further support Etisalat’s expansion in the future, said atop Etisalat official.
Furthermore, Etisalat and Huawei will jointly establish an Application Innovation Center (AIC) to increase the operator’s competitiveness and sustain its business growth by introducing more customized solutions and applications.
The agreement will further strengthen our valued relationship with Huawei,” said Omran. “With the on-going strategic partnership, we will be able to provide more differentiated service offerings to the subscribers across our geographical reach,” he noted.
